"I went into the store with my great-grandmothers ring, which had been worn by my mother every day for decades. My mother passed away in October and the ring came to me. It was broken and dirty but it was my tie to my mom. I brought it to Gehman's because my mom had been there a few times throughout the years and trusted them. The thought of leaving the ring to be fixed brought me to tears, but the wonderful women were so compassionate, and taught me how to recognize my family's ring."

"I visited to see if I could get a broken necklace repaired. I'd lost one link. It was only costume jewelry, so I didn't know if the lovely staff would be willing to work on it. The helpful lady who assisted me not only was willing to work on it... she fixed it gratis! I browsed a while and found a gorgeous pair of earrings to earmark as a potential purchase for a future moment or perhaps a birthday gift from my husband.
